Listen to the Irish President tell a Tea Partier what he thinks about right-wing politics in America
You guys have to listen to this audio clip of Irish President Michael Higgins going toe-to-toe with a Tea Partier. It’s truly wonderful. I’d also say it’s a pretty fair representation of how most Europeans I know feel about right-wing opposition to health care in the states: It absolutely disgusts and baffles them, almost always, but thankfully they understand that our government in America doesn’t accurately represent our population.
